Curator: Anastasia Egorova
The research exhibition is dedicated to the history of the building that hosts Ekaterinburg Academy of Contemporary Art and Ordzhonikidzevsky Center of Culture. From the day it was built (in the middle of 1930s) this space has been constantly changing its name, identity, and architectural and social functions. Organized according to the principle of a live narrative, the exhibition uncovers and lights up the main points of life of this monument of architecture.
Part of the project is a roundtable discussion Production of contemporary artist: How to teach art? that will take place on September 27 at the Yeltsin Center (3 Borisa Yeltsina Street) from 15:00 to 17:00.
