One of the most important aims of the Ural Industrial Biennial is to provide an interesting and inspiring experience for its every guest. A tour with a mediator is not a repeating from day to day tour guide’s monologue, but rather a group conversation and co-creativity. Mediator involves visitors in discussion and exchange of opinions on the works of art, gives simple tasks that allow you to look at the exhibits from a new angle and learn more about the biennial. S/he helps visitors to see the essence of the vision of artist and curator and to come to their own understanding of the works during a collective tour of the venue. Mediator identifies interests, needs, and proficiency of the group and creates a pleasant atmosphere for talking so that every group member can share simple human reactions and their own understanding based on the life experience and knowledge. Each tour with a mediator is unique because it is filled with emotions, views, and opinions of the visitors.

Average tour duration is 1,5 hours.
